Learn how the telescope collection at Great River Regional Library started as a single telescope pilot project and later grew to a collection of 20 telescopes sponsored by the Buffalo Rotary Club and two community volunteers. We'll discuss how the telescopes were modified for public use, lessons learned along the way, opportunities for STEM programming/community engagement, and questions to consider when exploring circulating non-traditional items.
